For a DMJX assignment, I had 20 mins to take portraits of Danish actor Jannick Raunow at a given location; close to the Tycho Brahe Planetarium, downtown CPH.

I’ve been busy, mostly with helping R finish his summer exam project for KARCH, so I didn’t get around to posting this. It’s the last of the admission tests I did for DMJX; we did it on day 2 in the morning. The assignment was portraits, which was a relief and exciting; portrait is easily my favorite discipline of photography. We were each given a model, a basement room, one light and 8 minutes to shoot plus 2 mins to set up, with a requirement to hand in 25 uncropped portraits, one of which should be chosen as the best one.

For the 3 word drama , I shot another little series in the greenhouses of the botanical gardens. I came across a box of dirt with very, very small plants. The whole box was less than 50×50 cm, but if you look closely, there was an epic tale going on there. I’d love to come back with a macro lens.
